tag tracking is officially dead, clicking a tracked tag now links to the search page, and you are no longer notified for new posts in the tag. tagging posts for visibility is no longer a thing

NEW XKIT HAS A FIX. Install that, and you will still be brought to the tagged page, you just can’t see the number of new posts yet. If you really are adamant about not installing extensions, you can also see tagged posts by manually typing in tumblr.com/tagged/whatever and it will show you the old page

Tagging is not dead. It’s just a little more work to get to. Keep using the tags, refuse to use the search, and maybe tumblr will get their shit together when they see where all the traffic is going
